Responsibilities

Provide the technical goal and strategy for Pixel Infrastructure. Design and lead a multi-year technical roadmap, balancing short and long-term technology investments

Review technical design from the team and guide technical discussions. Review experiments and guide project directions

Lead and manage a team of engineers over a global footprint. Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role, and meet regularly to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching

Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams

Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in embedded, cloud, or release management systems

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

15 years of experience in engineering with a track record of technical innovation with large-scale user facing products

8 years of experience programming in Java, C++, RUST or Python

Experience leading large teams, while creating a shared sense of goal or purpose, and promoting engineering and product excellence

Ability to think and develop product solutions
