Responsibilities

Ensuring team members follow proper procedures, enforce good safety practices, department productivity and quality goals are achieved
Assisting with the training and follow up of new team members
Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication
Directs and oversees the Internet process of picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines
Assist picking supervisors to help navigate and prioritize orders
Monitor systems and emails frequently to ensure customer satisfaction
Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
Performs additional duties as assigned
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets

Required

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Time management skills
Able to work well under pressure
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time

Preferred

1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
