Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, yard, loading docks, trailer areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, or hazardous conditions, and report findings per post orders
Monitor access points and truck traffic as assigned, assisting with visitor and driver check-in and/or directing personnel to the proper staging areas in accordance with site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken in daily activity reports and incident reports
Use Allied Universal communication tools and/or site systems to report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
