Responsibilities

Propose and lead independent research goals within scope of projects
Contributor in developing and documenting research findings and collaborator in writing scientific papers
Acts as team leader, providing project management direction
Lead research efforts within main goals of project and help coordinate interactions with other team members and universities
Writing documentation, technical papers, progress reports and participating in meetings/committees
Other duties as assigned

Required

Experience with multi-modal neural interface design
Experience with ultrasound imaging system design and operation
Experience with electrophysiology instrumentation
Experience with electrical neural recording and stimulation
Bachelor's degree
Work independently and cooperatively with others and follow detailed protocols accurately
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
Successful background check

Preferred

Microfabrication
Finite element Method (FEM) simulations (piezoelectrics and acoustics)
Discrete electronic design (Analog and digital design using COTS, schematic and layout design, microcontroller programming, PCB prototyping)
