Responsibilities
Acts as a representative and contact point for IT Security queries in the Americas region
Actively monitors and responds to alerts and detections in Vistex’s security toolset including SIEM, endpoint protection, web filtering/DNS protection, and Office 365 alerts
As part of the IT Security function acts as an escalation point for security incidents and ensures
Collaborates with IT teams on corporate security services (email, Teams, SharePoint, email filtering etc) to ensure operational security is in line with best practice and undertakes applicable security improvement projects
Works closely with service providers to ensure effective service delivery of services like SIEM and to address security requirements and issues
Works flexibly when required by projects and tasks with colleagues from other regions or when required by out-of-hours incidents
Develops, operates and improves security policies and procedures in line with Vistex information security standards and policies
Supports the Vistex compliance with ISO27001 and SOC standards through the operation and development of security policies and procedures and assists with external audit processes
Supports security responses for customer and partner security assessments, questionnaires and queries
Identifies and stays informed of the latest security trends and issues through various publications and sources
Qualification
Required
