Director/ExecutiveQLM Search is partnering with a branded CPG Group that is looking to appoint a VP FP&A. This role is for a true FP&A specialist who will design the FP&A function, own forecasting and budgeting, and provide decision support to the executive team.

Responsibilities
Designing the FP&A function end to end — models, processes, tools and cadence
Owning forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning across multiple brands and categories
Building robust financial models to support pricing, investment, margin and growth decisions
Providing high-quality decision support to the executive team
Developing business intelligence and performance reporting that gives real visibility across the portfolio
Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership team
Hiring and developing the FP&A team as the group continues to scale
Qualification
Required
True FP&A specialist with real depth in financial modelling, decision support and business intelligence
Experience building FP&A properly rather than inheriting something already set up
Designing the FP&A function end to end — models, processes, tools and cadence
Owning forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning across multiple brands and categories
Building robust financial models to support pricing, investment, margin and growth decisions
Providing high-quality decision support to the executive team
Developing business intelligence and performance reporting that gives real visibility across the portfolio
Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership team
Hiring and developing the FP&A team as the group continues to scale
Hands-on role, particularly in the early stages, close to the detail and shaping how things are done
Genuine FP&A expert, not a generalist finance leader
Built or materially upgraded FP&A capability before
Comfortable operating in a branded, multi-category CPG environment
Strong technically, but commercial, pragmatic and confident influencing senior stakeholders
Enjoy creating structure, insight and clarity in complex businesses
