The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is responsible for coordinating climate resilience efforts in New Jersey. They are seeking a Program Research Intern to monitor and analyze data from the MyCoast: New Jersey application, conduct outreach, and create promotional materials for the project.

Responsibilities
Monitoring reports through MyCoast: New Jersey
Create an Application Usage and Impact Study on the MyCoast: New Jersey application
Work closely with the application administrator to gain knowledge on the application while conducting a user and data analysis report
Compile future goals for the project application
Reviewing the user and data history on the application
Evaluate how the application is being used
Conduct outreach to current and future users to evaluate how the collected data is being used or how it can be used
Creating outreach materials such as content for social media and handouts for tabling events or application promotion
Qualification
Required
Data analysis skills
Outreach and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Individuals enrolled in an accredited university/college who are in their senior year or graduate level program studying Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Communications, Community Planning, Political Science, or other related fields
Applied project or coursework experience with climate-related outreach and stakeholder engagement is highly preferred, where available
