Responsibilities

Corporate governance, entity management and board-related matters
Statutory and regulatory compliance
Project contracts and office lease review
Employment law and HR support
Litigation oversight and project dispute resolution support
Collections support
Intellectual property and data management
Assist the General Counsel with special projects and firm-wide legal initiatives

Qualification

Juris Doctor (JD)Active law licenseCorporate legal experienceAnalytical skillsMulti-state experienceOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsBusiness-oriented legal adviceManage prioritiesExperience in engineering/architectureCollaboration skills

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the General Counsel
Practical, business-oriented approach to legal advice
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with multi-state or multi-entity organizations
7+ years of relevant corporate legal experience (law firm or in-house)

Preferred

Experience with an engineering, architecture or construction-related firm
