Support Specialist
BusRight is a fast-growing transportation tech company backed by investors from Uber, SpaceX, and Notion, seeking a Support Specialist to enhance customer experiences. In this role, you will manage Tier 1 support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and improve operations.
Responsibilities
Owning Tier 1 customer support requests via live chat and email, ensuring each customer receives a timely response and resolution. This includes tagging every request and updating ticket statuses to later analyze trends and recurring issues
Investigating and troubleshooting complex software, hardware, and highly technical data issues, serving as the first escalation point for our Customer Experience team
Working cross-functionally with our Product and Engineering teams to provide actionable insights, escalate product gaps, and close the loop on bugs and improvements
Analyzing usage data and creating regular actionable reports and assets for both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
Manage and drive new initiatives to scale our company operations; including SOP creation and documentation, workflow automation, and more
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience managing technically advanced software and internal systems
You're organized, detail-oriented, and you don't let things slip through the cracks
You're fluent in Google Workspace and experienced in leveraging customer support platforms and engineering ticketing systems to triage, document, and escalate issues with precision
You are comfortable with experiences that require your hands-on attention and learning on the fly
You thrive with extreme autonomy in a remote environment, and have a clear understanding of what to prioritize amid time-sensitive or high-stakes situations
Preferred
Bonus points if you have a software engineering or computer science degree and/or worked at a VC-backed company
