Business Analyst
DTI (Diversified Technology Inc.) is a successful IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop, seeking a Business Analyst for a 6+ month contract. The role involves supporting project teams by providing analytical expertise, conducting research, documenting business processes, and preparing presentations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Support the project team by providing analytical expertise and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives
Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives and decision-making
Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows
Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Conduct inspections of customer orders, including scanning and verifying items on pallets before stowing
Document discrepancies with photo evidence, designate variance types, and complete detailed post-inspection reporting
Identify and provide insights to support process improvements, operational excellence and areas for enhanced efficiency
Demonstrate attention to detail and strict adherence to the documented SOP process for conducting the inventory QA inspections
Timeliness is critical in all aspects of this role (arriving at designated time, uploading of output of inspection for review, addressing follow-up questions from client or Client team)
Communicate clearly (written and verbal)
Work a retail schedule during hours outside of a normal 9-5 schedule
Be prepared to travel outside of the primary client location when required by the client by air and/or driving
Qualification
Required
0-2 years experience as a Business Analyst
Ability to conduct research and gather data to support project objectives and decision-making
Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, requirements, and workflows
Ability to develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories
Assistance in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Preparation and delivery of presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Attention to detail and strict adherence to documented SOP processes for conducting inventory QA inspections
Timeliness in all aspects of the role, including arriving at designated times and uploading inspection outputs for review
Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work a retail schedule during hours outside of a normal 9-5 schedule
Willingness to travel outside of the primary client location when required by the client by air and/or driving
Must be within 50 miles of a major airport for air travel
