Responsibilities
Partner with Project Managers to manage the full financial lifecycle of construction projects
Track labor hours, job costs, budgets, and cost-to-complete
Prepare and maintain Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and monthly project updates
Monitor under/overbilling, change orders, and cost trends
Assist with project setup and maintenance in the accounting system
Review subcontractor invoices and manage purchase orders
Support invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable related to projects
Ensure compliance with contract terms, billing deadlines, waivers, and certified payroll requirements
Prepare labor efficiency reports, cost analyses, and quarterly projections
Participate in project review meetings and support project closeout
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Project Accountant within the construction industry
Strong job cost accounting and cost-to-complete experience
Proficiency in Excel
Preferred
Experience with Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred
