New Grad, Entry LevelHeartland Business Systems, Inc. is seeking a Cabling Installer I to work closely with experienced technicians in the installation of structured cabling solutions. This entry-level position involves various responsibilities such as pulling and installing cables, maintaining a safe work environment, and learning about different types of cabling.

Responsibilities
Pulling and installing new Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable
Climbing up and down ladders at varies heights
Installing cable pathways and raceways
Be able to use basic hand tools and power tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Install proper cable sleeves and chases
Take direction from Lead Technician
Learn basics between different types of cabling
Terminate Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable properly
Minimum of 1,450 hours billed per fiscal year prorated based on start date. These charge hour requirements will be balanced against professional development and on the job training
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
BICSI Fundamentals (can be completed within 90 days of hire)
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Construction and/or Electrical field experience
Computer Skills: Microsoft office Suite (Basic knowledge of computers)
