Responsibilities

Advising clients on a broad range of financial and estate planning issues, including cash flow management, retirement planning, education planning, risk management, inheritance, charitable giving, multi-generational estate planning and more
Support and collaborate with the senior CFP® in the creation of holistic wealth analyses, from the data gathering process up to and including the presentation of those analyses
May also be involved in portfolio management, which would help him/her to become familiar with the client base

Required

The CFP® certification is a prerequisite for this position
Five to seven years' financial planning experience in private wealth management
A passion for advising clients on an array of financial and life decisions
Currently works at a wealth management firm or in the Wealth Management division of a large bank
Wealth planning for individuals and complex family relationships
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent client and presentation skills
Experience preparing and presenting wealth analyses to clients
Empathy, compassion and strong listening skills
Solid understanding of trusts and estate planning

Preferred

eMoney experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with life, disability and long-term care insurance preferred (insurance licenses not required)
