Offshore Wind Research and Monitoring Intern - DSR-2026-7i
The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Offshore Wind Research and Monitoring Intern to assist in research and monitoring initiatives related to offshore wind projects. The intern will develop reports, prepare outreach content for social media, and review scientific publications regarding environmental impacts.

Develop reports related to offshore wind projects
Prepare outreach information for social media and the NJDEP website
Review scientific publications and guidance documents related to potential environmental impacts of offshore wind
Qualification
Required
Strong research and analytical skills
Clear written communication for reports/social media content
Attention to detail
Ability to translate technical information for public audiences
Authorization to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Preferred
Individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying Marine Biology, Ecology, or Oceanography
Individuals studying one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences
