Responsibilities
Architect and maintain a scalable, multi-application test automation framework
Build reusable components using Page Object Model and design patterns
Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright (Java) , Cucumber/BDD , and JUnit
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Groovy DSL) and optimize execution speed
Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into testable scenarios
Diagnose and resolve flaky or intermittent test failures using root-cause analysis
Manage test data isolation and parallel execution environments
Mentor junior engineers and enforce automation best practices
Qualification
Required
Hands on experience testing enterprise web applications and APIs
Proven experience designing and maintaining multi-application automation frameworks
Hands on Java development with strong OOP and design patterns
Hands on experience with Playwright (Java) and Cucumber/BDD or JUnit (Gherkin)
Strong CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, Groovy DSL) and Git branching strategies
Preferred
SQL (Oracle preferred), Python, Bash/Shell scripting
Docker/Podman and artifact repository experience (Artifactory)
Strong collaboration and communication skills with business stakeholders
Ability to mentor junior engineers and troubleshoot flaky tests effectively
