Responsibilities
Planning and Implementing Housing Options for Long-term Success (PILOTS) team
Train and supervise outreach staff to ensure appropriate service delivery through field
Assists outreach staff with time management: manages logistics of client coverage and assists when necessary
Participates in on-call system to ensure service delivery minimum coverage standard to ensure timely and effective service delivery
Through this program, the Support Specialist PILOTS staff will use a counseling approach that uses both motivational interviewing and harm-reduction
Provide assistant to staff in securing housing, move-in, relocations, interventions in eviction processes, rent arrears and housing stability
Provide crisis intervention
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or GED required
One year supervisory experience required
Preferred
BA/BS Degree in Mental Health related field preferred
Extensive experience in human services strongly preferred
