They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Modification Specialist responsible for preparing, processing, and executing mortgage loan modifications and related tasks in accordance with guidelines.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and process mortgage loan modification applications, partial claims, and deferments
Ensure all documentation and submissions comply with investor, agency, and state-specific guidelines
Work with legal counsel, title companies, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
Track and report on loan modification department pipeline
Analyze financial information, payment processing, and transactions, to determine eligibility and appropriate modification options
Other job duties as assigned

Required

6+ months experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, loan servicing or a combination of education and experience in related fields
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred

Proven experience in mortgage loan modifications, loss mitigation, or related roles
