Responsibilities
Work directly with loan officers, customers, title & escrow companies, attorneys, brokers, insurance companies and construction contractors to obtain all required documentation to develop complete loan files for underwriting
Compile required financial and collateral documentation including construction loan documents and obtain applicable endorsements through title
Review file submissions and identify all missing documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for RESPA, Reg B, OFAC, HMDA, Adverse Action and Flood insurance
Work with Loan Officers, Brokers, Escrow Officers and Customers to address issues and obtain required information satisfactory to underwriting standards
Manage loan closing processes to ensure all loan conditions and documentation meet regulatory requirements, including subsequent updates and final reports
Maintain a high level of customer service, communication and professionalism with both internal and external parties
Attend necessary training to adhere to regulatory compliance and company policies (may be offsite)
Participate in community volunteer activities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Commercial Loan Processor
Knowledge of all required financial and collateral documentation for underwriting and understanding of applicable lending compliance regulations
Familiarity with bond financing documentation
Proficiency with Word and Excel
Knowledge of loan closing processes including flood insurance guidelines
Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, work independently and in a team environment
Experience with various loan types including commercial and construction loans as well as standby letters of credit
Preferred
Experience with BakerHill NextGen solution (CLOS) and Fiserv DNA is a plus
