Responsibilities
Own customer discovery + PRDs: turn field/customer input into crisp PRDs with clear why, success metrics, and rollout plan
Drive the roadmap across Solar, BESS, and Hyperscale Data Centers: prioritize, sequence, and communicate software requirements across commissioning → operations → service
Be the bridge between Commercial/FDE/Field Service and Engineering: translate commercial commitments into buildable specs; ensure pilots transition cleanly into scalable deployments
Define Heron Care software tooling: roadmap service features for monitoring, diagnostics, triage, and reporting to enable long-term service delivery at scale
Ship with high velocity and low process tax: run lightweight planning/launch rituals that increase clarity and execution without slowing the team
Qualification
Required
6+ years in product management (or closely related software/systems/technical support role) with ownership of shipped products experiences
Strong ability to turn ambiguity into clarity: sharp prioritization, excellent PRDs, and clear tradeoffs
Proven cross-functional leadership bridging customer-facing teams and engineering to deliver on commitments
Comfort in technical, infrastructure-adjacent domains (commissioning, reliability, telemetry/observability, integrations)
Working fluency with industrial integration concepts and common protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, MQTT)
Startup mindset: high ownership, fast iteration, and strong written communication
Preferred
Experience building software for power electronics, renewables, energy storage, EVs or data-center power infrastructure
Experience with commissioning tooling, configuration management, fleet management, telemetry/observability, and remote diagnostics
Familiarity with OT cybersecurity expectations and best practices for critical infrastructure environments
