Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Respond to incidents, medical facility alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed
Assist with access control by monitoring designated entrances, verifying identification when required, directing visitors to appropriate locations, and reporting suspicious behavior per site procedures
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate noteworthy activity to the supervisor and/or incoming officers
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
