The DC Maintenance Tech I role involves ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of all rolling stock, machinery, and equipment in the facility, as well as performing day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility's interior and exterior.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair rolling stock, material handling equipment such as forklifts and warehouse equipment such as picking carousels, conveyors, shrink-wrap machines and inventory racks
Perform repair and maintenance duties to the interior and exterior building structure including electricity, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting, etc
Perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and equipment as required
Observe and promote established safety procedures
Assist in physical inventories as required
May perform other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
1 to 2 years of related experience
Prior experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment such as material handling equipment and automation systems such as conveyance and sortation systems, PLCs, and other related equipment
Ability to assess equipment and recommend an appropriate course of action
Ability to interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts
Ability to maintain and repair powered material handling equipment, pick carousels, conveyors and other automation equipment
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Some technical schooling and/or related training
Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
