They are seeking a Yearlong Data Analyst Intern to work within the Capital Construction unit, where interns will manage data inputs, create back-end codes for analysis, and construct dashboards for stakeholder presentations.

Responsibilities

Become familiarized with the data warehouse and data dictionary, manage data inputs, connecting data tables, and maintain large data sets from a relational data warehouse
Interact with non-technical stakeholders to devise design requirements for dashboards
Create back-end codes to analyze various scenarios
Construct data visualization dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholder presentations

Required

Full-time enrollment status in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail
Good project management skills
Knowledge of data analytics software such as AWS, Redshift, Microsoft Power Bi, Advanced Excel, ArcGIS, SQL
Proficiency in SharePoint

Preferred

Preferred Major(s): Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Urban Planning, Engineering
Preferred Level of Education: College graduate student
