Responsibilities
Assist team members by providing technical direction
Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria based on sound engineering principles
Use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments
Accountable for QC reviews of technical and civil engineering documents for the project design team, focusing on compliance with codes and constructability
Motivate team members through mentoring, coaching, and training
Evaluate Company standards and provide feedback and suggestions to improve internal tools, processes, and principles
Perform detailed site design work on a variety of projects and prepare reports, studies, and project documents (as required)
Conduct field site visits to obtain necessary data
Provide advanced technical expertise and support for specialty items and advanced designs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required
Minimum of 12 years of experience is required
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required
Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu, HydroCAD and other applicable design software
