Start in 2026 SummerUnited Consulting is seeking a Construction Inspection Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will work under the supervision of the Construction Manager, serving as a liaison between the manager and the contractor while maintaining inspection reports and assisting with project plans.

Responsibilities
Work under the direct supervision of the Construction Manager
Serve as the liaison between the Construction Manager and the Contractor
Consult with the Construction Manager for interpretation and clarification of the project plans and specifications
Able to maintain a journal and complete all daily field inspection reports
Willing to be trained and mentored
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management/Technology at an accredited college or university
Entry level position
Able to work 8 or more hours per workday
Able to work 40 or more hours per work week, as needed
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions traversing uneven or difficult terrain
Able to travel throughout Indiana including overnight stays
Possess a valid Indiana Driver's License
Agree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
Must possess good interpersonal skills
Must possess good communication skills
Must possess good organizational skills
