Responsibilities
Facilitating daily complimentary movement classes and seasonal programming including but not limited to hiking and educational plant and animal lectures which you will be trained on
Daily communication with internal Guest Services, F&B, and culinary team, guests, and vendors for appropriate program coordination. i.e.) checking in with guests and facilitators to make sure they are prepared for their experience, supporting communication within departments including F&B and Culinary to fulfill menu orders and amenities, etc
Leading and facilitating the daily activities Guided Property Hike, Sur House Social and Afternoon Outdoor Movement Activities
Pre and post in-person program logistics and gear support
Manage program supplies and communicate to Guest Experiences Program Manager on what needs to be fulfilled
Provide hands-on instruction and guidance to guests of all skill levels, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience
Maintain and organize activity equipment, ensuring it is in excellent condition and readily available for guest use
Assist in the promotion and marketing of outdoor activities to enhance guest engagement and participation
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest activities and experiences
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality, delivering exceptional service to all guests
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
Physical fitness and ability to lead outdoor activities in varying weather conditions and terrain
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate guest needs
Passion for nature, conservation, and sustainable tourism practices
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Preferred
Previous experience in outdoor recreation, adventure guiding, or related fields preferred
Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and geography preferred
