Environment, Safety and Health Engineer
Lockheed Martin is responsible for delivering world-class logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services to USSOCOM. As the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and the environment across operations, conducting inspections, risk assessments, and implementing action plans for safety concerns.

Responsibilities
Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and waste‑segregation audits
Review, investigate, and implement action plans for work‑related injuries, illnesses, accidents, and safety concerns
Coordinate and schedule vendor services, and oversee bulk‑material sampling (e.g., asbestos testing)
Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for PIT and earth‑moving equipment, including record‑keeping and certifications
Support emergency‑response exercises and contribute to sustainability initiatives
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must possess an active Secret clearance to start
Preferred
Earth mover equipment operation certification (Train the Trainer/Operator)
PIT equipment operation certification (Train the Trainer/Operator)
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management certification
DOT Hazmat Ground shipper certification
Method 9 Opacity Reading certification
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Certifications (often required or preferred)
OSHA 10‑hour General Industry or Construction certification
