Responsibilities
Serve as specialists in a specific service, trade, manufacturing and/or marketing/sales with our warehousing team within Utah Correctional Industries
Knowledge and experience in general warehousing/delivery and installation, and general construction
Function as a first line supervisor/foreman
Ensuring projects and program goals are completed
Employees supervise inmates and may supervise staff
Provide training and work experience to inmates within the pre release program
Ensure safety and security regulations/guidelines are followed, to include OSHA and EPA
Duties include instruction and training to staff and offenders who are in the pre release program
Develops, directs, and/or evaluates pre release programs
Schedules and assigns work to meet completion dates
Ensures compliance within the pre release program
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees/inmates within the pre release program
Inspect materials, products, or equipment
Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results
Observe work and monitor gages, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
Qualification
Required
