Responsibilities
Develop and revise technical publications, including Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Service Bulletins (SB), and Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Support departments to ensure the technical accuracy of documentation
Suggest and implement improvements for technical publications to the Technical Publication Manager
Qualification
Required
Previous Technical Writing experience for a manufacturing/business site
Experience with disaster manuals
Compliance or safety knowledge (willingness to research)
Generally 3+ years of technical writing experience in an aerospace engineering or manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related technical field
Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, CorelDraw/IsoDraw, and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with SGML Editor (Arbortext), AutoCAD, or basic 3D CAD modeling
Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and airframe (OEM) experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related technical field
