Responsibilities
Develop and maintain product technical manuals and media from initial plan to publication
Write product descriptions, procedures, and maintenance tasks. Create technical and marketing illustrations
Primary document responsibilities are product user and programming manuals, service manuals, technical datasheets, application notes, and catalogs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications, or related field, plus 1 year experience as a technical writer or content producer, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to create manuals and related collateral with illustrations using professional DTP programs is essential
Advanced computer skills are required. The successful candidate will be computer literate in a corporate Windows environment using Microsoft Office, Adobe development tools, and related products
Familiarity with general electronic test and measurement equipment is required
Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator, and PhotoShop is required
Proven ability to meet deadlines and balance your workflow
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Receptive to feedback
Preferred
Experience with spectrum, modulation, and vector network analyzers is desired
Basic familiarity with computer programming concepts is a plus
Experience with Adobe InDesign and WebWorks ePublisher is desired
Experience in structured content authoring and enterprise content management systems is a plus
