The Alpha M2 Technician is responsible for connecting, replacing, and terminating strings of batteries, and is an entry level position reporting to the Regional Transport and Technical Service Manager.

Responsibilities
Connecting all strings of batteries, per the design solution for each site. This includes all TPPL and solutions and can include up to 6 – 3 battery strings
For pole mount power supply locations, the conduit will be installed to the base of the pole with a sweep capped at the bottom of the pole. A PVC conduit will need to be ran up the pole and to the power supply cabinet as part of the M2 install and strapped to the pole with conduit straps and using an LB PVC connection enter the power supply cabinet
Replace the current power supply module with a new Alpha XM3.1 module. *Connect the battery cable from the PN-4(s) to the power supply. *Configure the new XM 3.1 and gather from the old power supply as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
General labor experience
Ability to write reports, correspondence, and documentation
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and other employees of the organization
Ability to walk for multiple hours at a time
Some out-of-town travel and overnight travel may be required
Must have a valid driver's license
