Responsibilities
Analyze and review mortgage loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy
Gather and verify all necessary documents required for the loan approval process, including income verification, credit reports, and asset statements
Process and prepare loan files for underwriting, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and company standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring a smooth loan process
Ensure all loan files comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the loan process
Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and other team members to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan transactions and communications
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field
Keen attention to detail on loan documentation
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
Bilingual - English & Spanish preferred
