They are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for their South County Internal Medicine office to perform back office functions, assist in patient examinations, and maintain a positive office image during patient interactions.

Responsibilities
Perform back office functions such as assisting in examination and treatment of patients
Interviewing patients
Measuring vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
Recording information in the patients chart or EMR
Project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers
Qualification
Preferred
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a High School Diploma and/or graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
PC/Windows proficiency
Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments
