Postdoctoral Associate or Research Associate
The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a laboratory researcher for the CHIPS 2D and Wide Band Gap Materials Reliability Project. The role involves performing analysis of 2D and WBG materials using scanning probe microscopy and developing automated characterization methods.

Developing scanning probe microscopy methods for 2D and WBG materials
Developing and deploy automated SPM data processing methods
Developing automated SPM data acquisition methods
Presenting results at internal and external meetings
Publish results in trade publications and scholarly journals
Ensuring that results, protocols, software, and documentation have been archived or otherwise transmitted to the larger organization
Qualification
Required
Postdoctoral Associate: A doctoral degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field with 0 – 4 years of post-doctoral degree experience
Research Associate: A doctoral degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field with 5+ years of post-doctoral degree experience
Preferred
2+ years of relevant scanning probe microscopy experience
Experience with microscopy image processing
Familiarity with scripting languages
Strong oral and written communication skills
