Responsibilities
Install, program, and configure electronic fences, gate operating systems, and access control barriers
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of access control systems to ensure optimal performance
Integrate access control systems with other security and building management systems
Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of access control systems
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and issues
Ensure all installations and operations comply with relevant safety and security standards and regulations
Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in access control systems, electronic security systems, or a related field
Proficiency in programming and configuring access control systems, electronic fences, and gate operating systems
Knowledge of networking and system integration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in various environments, and perform tasks that may require climbing ladders or working in confined spaces
Preferred
Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as Certified Access Control Technician (CACT) or similar are a plus but not mandatory
