Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete preoperative assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized and prepared for scheduled surgical or procedural care
Support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient perioperative flow through thorough clinical assessment, patient education, and collaboration with providers and perioperative teams
Focus on coordinating the preparation process rather than providing direct patient care in the surgery unit
Qualification
Required
Current Minnesota RN licensure
BLS certification
Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience (perioperative, med-surg, ICU, or ED preferred)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities
Effective communication with patients and care teams
