Responsibilities
Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting & variance analyses
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Support budgeting & forecasting processes using ERP & BI tools (e.g., JDE, Tableau, PowerBI)
Extract, clean & analyze large datasets from SQL databases to identify trends and turn into actionable insights
Analyze financial data & create financial models for decision support
Develop & maintain dashboards and automated reports for performance monitoring, ranging from operational metrics to cost controls
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations, including, but not limited to, assisting in evaluation of potential productivity initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
0-2 years' experience in a Finance or Data Analytics role, with demonstrated understanding of financial modeling & forecasting techniques
Proficiency in MS Office - specifically Excel & PowerPoint
Basic SQL knowledge & understanding of relational databases
Highly detail-oriented, with strong planning & organizational skills
Comfortable working both independently & collaboratively with different levels of the organization
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and comfortable communicating to gain clarity, when needed
Preferred
Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
Experience with SQL, R, or Python
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
AFP-Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FPAC)
INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
