Responsibilities
Maintain cooperative working relationships with information technology team members, trainers, leaders within the operating unit, and front line team members for project issues
Prepare the facility with EMR upgrades along with other closely related projects
Responsible for the planning, development, training, implementation, optimization, evaluation, and maintenance of assigned clinical information systems across the system
Function as a liaison for ongoing support and additional clinical informatics systems as needed
Develop and manage detailed project work plans and facilitate teams through solution implementation
Identify critical integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with division management to accomplish project goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, nursing, informatics or other related fields
2 years of experience working with an electronic medical record in a healthcare setting
Must attain and retain Epic credentialing to teach within 6 months of employment
Preferred
Master's degree in business administration, education, nursing, informatics or other related fields
Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting
Previous experience in project management
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to provide effective leadership and maintain cooperative working relationships
Analytical skills necessary in order to develop detailed project plans, identify risks and issues, and to understand data
Ability to articulate complex concepts both orally and in writing
