Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with resident and guest entry processes per site guidelines, and report concerns to management and/or appropriate contacts
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes when feasible and requesting assistance from emergency services when needed
Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document observations clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff
Qualification
Required
Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
