Founding Business Development Representative

Multiplayer is a company that helps teams fix bugs faster with AI. They are seeking a part-time Business Development Representative to assist in building the outbound engine, qualifying opportunities, and influencing the early go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

Run targeted outbound campaigns to developers and customer support engineers
Research prospects, identify ICP fit, and personalize outreach
Book qualified meetings and hand off high-intent opportunities to Sales/Founders
Maintain clean pipeline hygiene and consistent follow-up
Work closely with founders to refine messaging and outbound experiments
Provide feedback from the field to help improve positioning and GTM strategy
Be one of the earliest members of the revenue team, helping set the foundation

Required

Hustle and curiosity — you're energized by finding and starting conversations
Excellent written communication skills (clarity, brevity, and personalization matter)
Ability to work independently and manage your own time (10–20 hrs/week)
Comfortable with rejection and persistent in follow-up
Strong desire to grow into a full-time BDR/Sales role as the team scales

Preferred

Experience in outbound, BDR/SDR work, or developer-facing products is a plus
Interest in developer tools, distributed systems and observability tools is helpful
