Responsibilities
Partner directly with key decision-makers to design, execute, and analyze process development studies that fuel the next wave of gene therapies
Play a central role in optimizing purification and downstream processes for viral vectors, collaborating cross-functionally with academic partners, in-house manufacturing teams, and external CDMOs
Contribute technical expertise to the planning, execution, and analysis of toxicology and production batches in GLP-compliant settings
Drive critical activities across process scale-up, chromatographic purification, UF/DF, centrifugation, and formulation to deliver high-quality AAV products
Support technology transfer and rigorous process documentation to ensure seamless progression from R&D to clinical manufacturing
Work with a world-class team committed to developing robust, scalable, and innovative solutions for gene therapy—transforming treatment possibilities for patients
Qualification
Required
Experience in downstream process development for gene therapy or related fields
Technical expertise in purification and downstream processes for viral vectors
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with academic partners and manufacturing teams
Experience in GLP-compliant settings
Knowledge of process scale-up, chromatographic purification, UF/DF, centrifugation, and formulation
Strong analytical skills for executing and analyzing process development studies
Experience with technology transfer and process documentation
