Responsibilities
Apply ASC 606 guidance to review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed revenue schedules and reconciliations
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to revenue
Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations to ensure contract terms align with accounting requirements
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with controls
Analyze revenue trends, variances, and key metrics; present findings to management
Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, systems, and reporting
Assist with system enhancements and automation initiatives related to revenue accounting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4-7+ years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, or multi-element arrangement environments
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and technical revenue concepts
Experience supporting audits and working within a SOX-controlled environment
Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is a plus
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

CPA or CPA-track preferred
