Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial chemical location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, logging visitors and vendors, and verifying delivery and vehicle information per site procedures
Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through the established chain of command
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
