Responsibilities
Lead the Quality Group in support of the Quality Manager
Cover vacation for site Quality Manager and Quality Leads
Ensure the lab & equipment is in good condition and calibration are performed
Backup and support inline NDT
Ability to flex to all shifts as required. Primary shift is days
Ensure inspections are completed as required
Review & completed disposition on nonconforming material as well as scheduling rework
Assist in maintaining the quality management system
Liaison with customers over quality issues & product information
Liaison with the sales team regarding product information
Provide training to quality as related to their positions
Assist shipping in inspection as needed
Travel as required
Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
Qualification
Required
Working in the Quality field 5 years minimum in a Supervisor or higher role
Ability to review & understand product specifications/standards
Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions
Strong computer skills
Exhibits effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a great work ethic
Preferred
Experience with Quality System (ISO 9001), NDE inspection and API product
