Palo Alto Networks Solution Specialist-Dallas/Richardson/Raliegh
NeerInfo Solutions is seeking a Palo Alto Networks Solution Specialist for their Cyber Security practice. The role involves driving business development of managed security offerings and providing expertise in SOC, SASE, EDR, and Cloud Security while collaborating with various teams to acquire new clients and increase revenue.
Responsibilities
Drive the business development of our managed security offerings in the areas of (i) Security Operations Center (SOC), (ii) Network Security & SASE (Secure Access Secure Edge), (iii) Managed EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) (iv) Cloud Security
Lead responses and proposals against client RFXs as a domain expert
Collaborating closely with various teams such as solution design, program management, and transformation consulting groups
Work with various sales groups to find opportunities for proactive pursuits with prospective and existing clients
Serve as the “go-to” solution expert on SOC, SASE, EDR & Cloud Security for customers and the account sales teams working with those customers
Engage with client leaders, understanding their requirements, addressing them in the proposal with a focus on Zero Trust approach, presenting the proposals, taking client feedback and improving proposals
Take part in or lead cross-functional initiatives across the organization to support the unit's goals
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX OR Richardson, TX OR Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
At least 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security or Cloud Security Solutions, preferably in services companies / GSI (Global Systems Integrators)
Deep knowledge of domains such as SOC (Security Operations center), network security, IT security and zero trust (while not a technical solution engineering role, a background in and/or understanding of the technologies underlying SOC, SASE, End point detection & response, as well as Cloud Security is important)
The ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and influence their decisions
The ability to work with a diverse and cross-functional team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Engaging with client leaders, understanding their requirements, addressing them in the proposal with a focus on Zero Trust approach, presenting the proposals, taking client feedback and improving proposals
Taking part in or leading cross-functional initiatives across the organization to support the unit's goals
Preferred
The ability to identify win themes and link them to the proposed solution
Knowledge of key market players/competitors in the cybersecurity and Zero Trust solution spaces
Experience in selling or supporting the sales of cyber security, network security or cloud security solutions is good to have
Coaching and mentoring junior team members who are part of the pursuit teams and developing their skills and capabilities
Planning and Co-ordination skills
