Responsibilities
Coordinate with Project Supervisor to configure equipment and piping layout
Help order project supplies and materials
Orbitally weld stainless steel gas tubing
Install gas equipment, piping supports, hangers, and stainless steel gas lines
Assemble materials and equipment at job site
Follow project specifications and drawings
Safely use hand and power tools
Repair equipment and components
Follow facility, industry, company, and government safety regulations
Qualification
Required
Ability to travel, including both driving and flying
Must have a valid driver's license
Job requires stays away from home for approximately 40% of the year
2-4 years' experience in construction, trade, or other hands-on assembly related background
Ability to use and safely operate hand and power tools
Proficiency in measuring and performing basic mathematics
Preferred
High School degree preferred
Pipe and tube welding experience is a plus
