PHT Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for a long-term contract role. The main purpose of this role is to lead and govern the migration of on-prem Windows environments to AWS cloud, overseeing all aspects of the project from planning to execution and stabilization.

Responsibilities

Lead and govern migration of on-prem Windows environments to AWS cloud

Own end-to-end delivery: planning, execution, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization

Provide technical oversight for AWS architectures supporting Windows-based workloads

Manage Windows Server re-platforming and upgrades during AWS migration

Oversee legacy application migration risks, dependencies, and constraints

Ensure security, compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements

Govern testing, QA, documentation, architecture diagrams, and migration runbooks

Drive risk identification, mitigation, and escalation across the program

Coordinate distributed/part-time technical teams and external vendors

Oversee DevOps and automation efforts (Ansible, CI/CD, hybrid environments)

Deliver executive-level status reporting and stakeholder communication
