Responsibilities
Develops a comprehensive understanding of a client’s key priorities, company environment, and personal aspirations
Provides candid, actionable feedback on strategies/initiatives
Helps clients identify and make decisions critical to success
Brings the best of the Forrester ecosystem (spanning research, consulting, and events) to clients in a timely, tailored fashion
Serves as a strategic business advisor to executive program clients, advising them by applying Forrester’s research and drawing upon their own practitioner experience
Manages 15 to 20 senior client relationships
Partners with sales and customer service teams to deepen client account relationships
Creates a comprehensive delivery plan grounded in Forrester’s intellectual property (e.g., decision tools, frameworks, and research)
Represents the voice of the customer to assist research with content creation
Provides proactive business development support to Forrester’s sales organization, helping to develop and nurture existing opportunities identified by sales
Represents Forrester on social media channels and by speaking at external events as a thought leader
Qualification
Required
Fifteen-plus years of proven experience in technology leadership either as:
A chief information officer (CIO), chief technology officer (CTO), chief digital officer (CDO), or other senior technology executive
A senior consultant to those in technology leadership roles
Deep knowledge of the IT industry and the role of the CIO (including digital transformation, executive management, change management, cybersecurity, business model innovation, automation and intelligent systems, digital strategy, and trends, use of metrics, etc.)
In-depth understanding of the business value of IT and the alignment of business and IT strategies
A strong executive presence; the ability to create positive impressions with C-suite executives through all channels of communication
Strong collaboration, partnering, and influencing skills
Embodiment of the following Forrester's values: client focus, collaboration, courage, integrity, and quality
Superior presentation skills
