Account Manager

Responsibilities

Own and manage an assigned book of business with full accountability for account health, retention, and growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Build strong, professional relationships with property managers and decision-makers
Maintain a clear understanding of customer properties, service scope, and pest pressures
Act as the steward of the customer partnership, ensuring expectations, commitments, and service standards are consistently upheld
Represent the company with professionalism, credibility, and sound judgment in all customer interactions
Proactively monitor account activity to identify risks related to service consistency, access, preparation, compliance, or recurring pest issues
Identify pest risks, service gaps, and emerging issues across the assigned book of business
Address customer questions, concerns, or escalations with a solutions-oriented approach
Generate leads by recognizing when additional services or adjustments are needed
Educate customers on pest concerns and preventative strategies
Guide customers through appropriate service solutions in a consultative manner
Ensure services are maintained in accordance with contracted scope, agreed service schedules, and compliance requirements
Proactively identify risks to service continuity and coordinate resolution efforts
Partner with Field Services and Operations teams to support proper service delivery
Address customer questions or concerns and follow through to resolution
Communicate updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers and internal stakeholders
Partner with internal teams to convert identified needs into scheduled services
Track account activity, service recommendations, and opportunities using internal systems
Share recurring trends, account insights, and systemic challenges to support continuous improvement
Maintain accurate, timely documentation that supports service continuity, visibility, and decision-making
Operate with a solutions-oriented, long-term mindset
Communicate with clarity, professionalism, and accountability
Represent the company’s service standards and values in all customer interactions

Required

2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer success
Experience managing an assigned book of business and serving as the primary point of contact for customer accounts
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations or field teams

Preferred

Experience in a service-based or operationally complex environment strongly preferred
