Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of professional liability and complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert depositions
Prepare pleadings, discovery, and trial materials
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy
Provide clear, timely client communication and case analysis
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of relevant litigation experience, with demonstrated exposure to professional liability and/or complex commercial matters
Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
Significant experience in all aspects of trial advocacy (including depositions, motions, and orders to show cause)
Strong analytical, organizational, and case-management abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
Must be admitted to practice and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar
Preferred
First-chair deposition or courtroom experience
Experience handling matters in state and federal court
Familiarity with e-discovery platforms
Portable business or business development interest is a plus
