Responsibilities

Collaborate with sector leads to deliver truly integrated project solutions and strengthen/broaden the interiors team experience base
Liaise with Stantec Interior Design Groups across region/sector and opportunities
Participate in strategic business development for the Interior group
Contribute towards the development of goals, strategies, and client focused culture of the practice
Qualification
Required
To lead in creative and critical thought
To communicate abstract ideas (verbal/written) as well as coach staff to reach this level
Ability to lead/direct space planning, block planning and adjacencies in coordination with design program
Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively
To lead a team and collaborate in project team setting
To engage and lead in creative and critical thought
To interpret sketches, drawings, program and other similar material
To communicate abstract ideas (verbal/written/graphic)
Advanced experience in Revit and the use of it as a design tool
Advanced understanding of lighting/fixtures
Advanced understanding of FFE and specifications
Advanced understanding of client's expectations of deliverables at different phases of projects including construction documents
Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Experience with the most recent design software (Sketch-up, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, etc.) is preferred
Licensed Interior Designer is preferred
LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is preferred
Prefer experience with Newforma
